The flotation machine, also called flotaiton-cell, flotation separator or flotation plant, is the essential ore flotation equipment in the modern beneficiation process and the flotation-cell is used to select copper, manganese, silver, gold and antimony ore by flotation. Hongxing Machinery which is famous for making flotation cells has SF series flotation cells and XJK series flotation machine for different ore productions.
When flotation machine or flotation-cell works, slurry is inhaled from the bottom of the trough to the space between impellers of the ore flotation equipment. Meanwhile, the low pressure air sent by fan is sent to this area through the air distributor in the hollow shaft of the flotaiton cells. After sufficient mixing, the slurry is pushed out by the impeller, and then goes to the whole trough of the flotation separator. When the froth rises to the stable level, after the enrichment processing, froth overflows to the froth trough from the overflow weir. Another part of ore slurry flows to lower part of impeller of the flotation separator for the remixing with air. The remaining slurry flows to the next trough of the ore flotation equipment until it becomes residue.
