According to the industrial practical experience of our company, the flotation separator should meet the following basic requirements if users want to make full use of the machine and realize the perfect beneficiation effect.
1. The flotation separator should possess the excellent inflation performance. Only when the separator sucks or presses enough air into the machine and forms a large number of air bubbles with proper size can the flotation separator has enough liquid and gas separating interface. The better the inflation property is, the better the flotation process will be.
2. The stirring intensity should also be controlled well. To stir the ore pulp in the flotation separator will make the mineral particles float evenly in the flotation tank. If the stirring intensity isn’t controlled properly, it will reduce the possibility of the mineral particles to attach to the air bubbles.
3. The ideal flotation separator need to run continuously for a long time and should be easy to be adjusted and operated. In the real industrial production, it’s necessary for the flotation machines to own the structure of constant feeding, scraping and discharging minerals with non-stop.
4. In addition, in order to adjust the handling process and control the flotation index, we should also design and install the adjustment device which can change the ore pulp horizontal plane, foam layer thickness and pulp flow velocity.
5. In the current flotation process, the automatic performance has become the irreplaceable feature of the flotation separator and good automaticity will be the essential requirement of a qualified machine.
