The bucket elevator is suitable for elevating materials from a lower level to a higher level and the materials are conveyed upward in an automatic and continuous manner through the vibrating station. This elevator bucket has many advantages such as big conveying quantity, high elevating height, stable and reliable operation and long service life.
The bucket type lifter and plate chain bucket elevator are the two most commonly seen types. They usually adopt flow type feeding. The materials will be raised to the top by the plate chain. Under the gravity, it discharges automatically. This machine is available in various specifications and features with high efficiency and low energy consumption. Generally, it adopts closed-circuit casing, so it is outstanding with low noise and long service life.
1. Start it with empty load. Remove all the materials in the hopper before stopping the machine.
2. Avoid machine inversion. Inversion may lead to chain derailment phenomenon.
3. Keep uniform feeding. Sudden increase of the volume of feeding is prohibited. Feeding amount cannot exceed the transmission capacity of the hoist.
4. Add oil timely and appropriately.
5. Promptly replace the chain and hopper if it is seriously worn or damaged.
The materials are scooped up by the hopper and brought to the top along with the conveyor belt or conveyor chain, and then the materials will roll down after bypassing the top wheel, and the bucket elevator will pour the materials to the receiving chute. The driving belt of bucket elevator with driving belt often uses rubber belt which is installed on the upper or lower transmission drum and the upper or lower redirection transmission drum. Hoist conveyor with chain drive is often installed with two parallel transmission chains, and there is a pair of transmission sprocket on the lower or upper part and a redirection chain wheel on the upper or lower part. Hoist conveyor is often installed with enclosure to avoid dust pollution.
