The cement production line (cement making plant) is a cement equipment production line composed by a series of equipment. Cement mill can be used not only in open-circuit grinding, but in circular ring flow that is composed of the powder grinding machine. Cement mill is distinctive for strong material adaptability and it is able to make continuous production with big crushing ratio, easy to adjust the speed of the grinding fineness and so on. It is available for both drying and wet production, which can also be done with drying and grinding operations at the same time. After drying process, the raw materials, treated by cement mill, become cement raw materials. And then one of the key cement making machines to be used in cement making production line is rotary kiln. As we all know, after cement grinding, the cement is raw, that is, after mixing with water, cement is cement, and water is still water. We cannot mix the two materials together, so we will treat raw cement with cement rotary kiln to get the cement of semi-finished products.
Why do we say call semi-finished products? Because not all the raw materials are ground into powder. We will screen and select the semi-finished cement that are discharged by rotary kiln. The materials that are not ground into powder will be sent back to production line for re-grinding.
As the leading equipment for cement production, the vertical mill has the advantages of compact structure, high powder grinding efficiency, easy operation, etc. For application of vertical mills in production of cement raw materials, the technology is very mature. In the whole cement industry, the vertical mills are widely applied. In recent years, along with the improvement of design and manufacturing technology of vertical mills and the innovation of powder grinding process, in foreign countries, vertical mills are successfully applied in the cement grinding. The technology and process are already mature and its market share rises rapidly and the development momentum is good.
