The electromagnetic vibrating feeder has to take debugging and commissioning after being installed; adjusted electric vibration machine should take idling running for 4 hours continuously under the condition of voltage, current and amplitude value are normal. During operation, the values of current and amplitude should be stable except naturally fluctuate with network voltage. Unadjusted electromagnetic vibration machine can't be put into service.
Adjustments include the following content:
(1) Air gap between iron core and armature be should checked and adjusted to 1.9-2.2 MM; it should be parallel and clean completely; after adjustment, please tighten bolts. Too big air gap may increase current and reduce vibration; on the contrary, too small air gap may lead to collision of iron core and armature; so, any impact phenomenon between iron core and armature is allowed.
(2) Tuning of spring set: Spring account of spring set is selected according to the tuning values Z. Tuning of this feeder is designed to be Z=ω/ω0 =0.9. If tuning value is less than 0.9, it will reduce the feeding capacity; if higher than this value, material conveying will be not stable; so we must make adjustments carefully and repeatedly. After the adjustment of air gap, tighten fastening screw of iron core and top screw of spring set, loosen access screw, plug into power supply and adjust potentiometer knob to gradually increase amplitude; meanwhile, watch out the amplitude shown in amplitude signs to make the current and amplitude reach rated value.
(3) Stability and reliability of electromagnetic vibrating feeder largely depends on the fastening degree of fastening screw of iron core and top screw of spring set. So it is required that check and tighten all top screws, fastening screw and nuts within the first week until equipment operates stably.
