The lubricant or the lubricating agent is an important type of product used by many kinds of machines in the mining industry. We use it to reduce the friction loss of machines’ surfaces when they are running. So what are the specific functions of these lubricants in the mining machinery application?
1. The utilization of the lubricant is good for users to reduce the friction coefficient of the mining machines. When we add lubricant oil on the two touching surfaces of the machine, we create a film made of oil which can reduce the friction coefficient, frictional resistance and power consumption.
2. Using lubricant will help to reduce the attrition caused by the welding and tearing happening between the metal surfaces.
3. The application of the lubricant oil can also lower the high temperature which is caused by the running equipment. When the mining machine works, it will produce certain amount of heat that will increase the temperature of the working condition. So the liquid lubricant will move some heat and create a cool condition.
4. We also use the lubricant oil to clean and wash the mining equipment by removing the friction particles on the friction surface.
5. In order to realize the protection of the metal surface of the mining machines, we will use the lubricant oil to prevent the corrosion phenomenon.
6. Good sealing effect will also be realized by the utilization of the lubricant oil for the mining machinery industry. It will form a sealing layer that will avoid the air leakage.
