High-frequency screen is an effective equipment for sieving and classifying fine grained materials, which is widely used in screening or classification work of ore-dressing plants such as, iron ore, tin, tungsten, tantalum, niobium,etc.
High frequency screen has advantages of high efficiency, small amplitude and high screening frequency. Different with the principle of ordinary sieving equipment, the high frequency screen adopts high frequency which on the one hand destroys the tension on the surface of the pulp and high speed oscillation on the screen of fine particle material, on the other hand speeds up the separation effect of big-density valuable mineral; thus it results in better separation conditions, which makes the materials less than separation size, especially major particles and pulp become the undersize products.
High frequency screen is widely used in mineral processing, coal, chemical industry, brick making, food, pharmaceutical, alkali, chemical fertilizer, paper making and other industries. It is applied in fine classification work in the mill grinding classification process; if the difference between demand for screen size and the feeding granularity is less than 30% , the screening efficiency can be as high as 70%. Because of high screening efficiency, it can greatly reduce qualified grade levels of oversize products, so as to improve the processing capacity of mill. In addition, under the action of high- frequency and small-amplitude oscillation in the screen surface, the pulp has the effect of density stratification, and high-density small particles fall into screen surface and sieve, which can obviously improve the grade of undersize materials.
