In installation and adjustment processes of rotary drum dryer , we should pay attention to the following four questions:
1. To make the gradient of cylinder after installation meet requirements, we should guarantee the accuracy of benchmark level difference between high roller and low roller; the difference can be calculated by:
Elevation difference= center distance between two rollers (mm) * slope %.
2. Angles of roller axis and cylinder centerline should be same. Having installed roller, we should put on the dryer, and measure contact condition between roller and rolled ring to make further adjustment.
3. The installation of big gear should be performed after the installation of cylinder, the method is as follows: first, manufacture four sets of auxiliary tools with threaded screw, uniformly distribute the tools around the cylinder and weld up them by spot welding to fix wheel.
4. In the running operation of rotary drum dryer, end face of roller ring should not contact frequently.
If the cylinder of rotary drum dryer jumps upward and contacts with upper catch wheel, we should add oil in tug, then the cylinder would jump downward and leave upper catch wheel; or, cylinder would jump downward and contact with lower catch wheel; then we can put some fine sand in tug. If cylinder jumps seriously,we need to turn the axis of the tug in a horizontal position.
